QA Manager
Job Description
Responsible to lead the development and implementation of a quality assurance management system, measurements and audits, assisting in improving operational management processes throughout POM companies. Will monitor, perform and manage quality assurance processes including those supporting compliance to regulatory and/or accreditation standards.
Responsibilities Include:
• Develop and manage quality assurance management systems, developing and monitoring specific programs at POM companies to improve Quality Assurance (QA) process.
• Maintain accurate and up to date understanding of the standards / legal requirements and ensure processes are in place to maintain compliance with the same.
• Guide the POM companies towards deciding quality objectives.
• Perform internal and external audits in POM companies, ensuring the corrective actions are developed and reporting the result to POM management.
• Investigate internal/external customer complaints and non-conformance issues, assisting the implementation of corrective actions as it relates to the complaints and ensure “lessons learned” are communicated throughout POM companies and are incorporated into the Annual program, if necessary.
• To develop and coach a high performing team.
• Set department annual budget and operating plan, ensuring QA department operates effectively, within budget and in accordance with SLAs.
• To manage staff effectively and according to organizational policies and legislation, especially equality, diversity, fairness and dignity in the workplace.
• Provides technical support to management on QA Management System expectations and regulatory compliance (ISO9001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, ISO 31000).
• Review and analyze training needs, both team and employees, of in order to implement training programs, where necessary, to ensure required competency and customer service attitude levels are achieved

Skills
Education/ Qualification Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical Field (Engineering / Science / Environmental subject etc.)
International Diploma in Quality Assurance or equivalent.
Reliable QA certification, Certified lead auditor and deep knowledge on ISO 31000 would be an advantage.
Work Experience Minimum 8 to 10 years of professional experience in a managerial function in Quality Control/Assurance and Quality Auditor.
At least 4 years should be in a reputable consultancy/certified company.
Knowledge English Language
Proficient in MS Office, Deep knowledge in ISO 31000,ISO 9000,ISO 14000,
Knowledge in HACCP, Knowledge of developing SOP
